Zlot and the caves

Karst country north-west of Zaječar, with the longest cave in Serbia.

Around Zlot, between Bor and the Kučaj massif, lies one of eastern Serbia's most striking karst landscapes. The Lazar Canyon and the Zlot caves form a network of gorges, springs and underground systems.

The best known and only one developed for visitors is Lazar's Cave, the longest in the country. The drive from Zaječar goes via Bor and takes a good hour.
