A village by the reservoir south-west of town, with a monastery and quiet fishing.
Grlište lies south-west of Zaječar by the reservoir of the same name, which supplies the town with drinking water. Because the lake is a protected water source there are no holiday homes and no boat hire – which is exactly the appeal for anyone after quiet.
On the shore stands the monastery of Saints Peter and Paul, in a conifer wood planted by a hieromonk in the 1920s.
